Celebrating the eve of May Day |
This years celebrating the eve of The museum is open from 16.00. Entrance is free this evening. Celebration begins at 18.00. This is a cooperation arrangement between Karlskoga commune, The museums friendship society and the museum. |

| This year is the Chemistry Year, also celebrating the double Nobel Prize lauret Marie Curie, 1903 and 1911. In our museum we will invite schoolchildren of 6th and 8th class to meet Alfred Nobel and participate in a chemical show in Alfred Nobels laboratory. This will happen in May. Later this year we will together with scientific societys arrange symposins in interesting chemical subjects. |

The summer at Nobelmuseet i Karlskoga starts June 1 and lasts to August 31.
We are introducing a new Reception/Entré in the old Carriages House (Vagnslidret) on the grounds of Björkborn Manor. Apart from selling tickets to the museum the reception also houses the souvenir shop.
This year we are also making two new showcases and we will show the visitors Alfred Nobels letter as honorary doctor at Uppsala university 1893. Also will we show one of his big wooden cameras, newer showed before.
